The Peak Park Conservation Centre welcome campers for one, two or more nights under canvas or our static caravan as a base for whose who want a "Pit Stop" for rest and relaxation when doing "your thing" exploring the Peak District National Park.
We are away from the road with some of the most beautiful surroundings on our doorstep and places of interest to visit.
Basic Camping - Gallery - Tariff
We offer basic camping (cold water tap and a portaloo) for those who arrive under their own power (walk, run or pedal power).
You can choose your own spot to pitch a tent even amongst the animals but we do ask you use the portaloo for number 2's and only light fires in the fire pit with wood we provide from our trees for a price!
For those of you that crave a little more comfort and wish to arrive by motorcar you can rent our "Old Girl" a 30' static caravan of senior years (you never ask the age of a lady!) .
The "Old Girl" will sleep up to six people in two bedrooms and a pull out bed in the living room area.
If you are looking for a quiet location in the Hope Valley Peak District which is virtually in the centre of the Peak District National Park - apart from horse, sheep & pheasant calls - this could be the static caravan for your long weekend away from it all.
We supply the static caravan, water, electricity, gas, cooking utensils and mattresses. You supply your own towels, bedding or sleeping bags.
The Peak Park Conservation Centre welcomes campers who love and respect the countryside to make a "Pit Stop" and enjoy our simple caravan & camping facilities
So if you fancy a couple of days, or more off the beaten track, we look forward to seeing you at the Peak Park Conservation Centre, The Stables, Thornhill Lane, Thornhill, Nr Bamford, Hope Valley, Derbyshire, S33 0BR.
